Winnowing Wovens
Blank Slate - 4.2 meters

This piece of Blank Slate is medium/thin, with pretty balance grip & glide wrap qualities. It is incredibly soft and floppy in hand. It's a perfect neutral, in natural champagne colored green tea modal with soft greys, paired with a white milk protein fiber weft. While handwoven wraps often have little quirks that give them personality, such as visible bobbin changes or imperfect selvages at times, this piece has more than most of my pieces. There are doubled threads scattered throughout the warp (on average 2-3/meter or so, but they are inconsistent).
This warp has a different pattern on the front and back side of the woven material -- these doubled threads are more visible on the back. There is also one more traditional treadle error which is more visible (again, on the back side). They are aesthetic only, and do not change the integrity of this wrap. Photos of these threads from both the front and the back are included in this listing, and a discount has been applied. Please reach out with any questions.
